I think it is a
very nice photograph because it shows people being
outside a space but looking into it. The people might have had
close
connections to the space inside but as far as I could figure out
they were not the gallery owners and they were not relatives of
the
sculptor, whose work was on show at the time. They were therefore
probably curious passers by. Did they go inside and have a look
or
did they stay outside? It is the only photograph of them so there
is
no way of knowing now.
