The couple
depicted in the photograph seem in a time warp of their
own which is even more striking because the cutting is from a
1960s
paper. It turns out that the cutting is a book review from the
granddaughter of the Holman-Hunts. Through circumstances the
granddaughter was brought up by her grandparents. They seemed to
have been completely submerged into the past, giving their
granddaughter a wealth of information to write about later. It
must
have been as if time had stopped and she had the chance to
re-live
the Pre-Raphaelite movement decades after it had ceased to exist.
