Dear Nick and Susan Mosse,

As promised, some questions for you to consider in relation to James Turell's 'Lapsed Quaker Ware' installation at Ackworth Quaker School. Your replies will be documented as part of our research into the project and included on our web site <www.ackworth.w-yorks.sch.uk/index.html> along with links to other artranspennine sites.

1. When did you first meet James Turrell?

2. What do you think of his 'light works'?

3. What did you know about Quakerism before the project began?

4. Have you ever worked with the materials used in 'LQW' before?

5. What research did you undertake before beginning the project?

6. Do you enjoy working with other artists?

7. How do you feel about making work for other artists' projects?

8. Do you ever offer critical advice or suggestions to artists when working on their projects?

9. Why are the 'LQW' not glazed?

10. Do you think you have done James Turrell's idea/concept justice?

11. Do you feel you have received enough recognition for your input on the project?

12. What is your view on artists 'employing' other artists/craftspeople to produce their work?

13. Has working on this project affected your own practice and the type of work you usually create?

Thank you for taking time to answer these questions and we look forward to your reply.
